It has been 6 months since the last sighting of Benjen Stark. Ghost is the only being that is not afraid of the dead. Jon suggests burning them, the commander demands a more respectful burial.
The bodies are brought back to the Wall.
Jon gets news of his father’s imprisonment and the King’s death, and is told not to do anything stupid… And then attacks Allister at the dinner table for talking smack about him. He is sent to his quarters.
Jon is awoken in the night by Ghost scratching at his door, he inspects the tower and finds the Commander’s quarters empty, and then fights off the white walker corpse, ultimately burning it with fire-lit curtains (and badly burning his own hands).
