When I needed help, I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Everything pointed to therapy, so that’s what I did. It drained my pockets and I spent most of my time talking about unrelated topics to the issues I wanted to target. I was told “We have to fix ALL of you.” While I appreciated the concern, I was trying to focus on my biggest issue, as it was causing the most damage in my life.
Let me show you how I was able to learn to love myself, in many different ways:

Exercise
Get your body moving! This did not solve all of my problems, but it has certainly helped change my mentality towards myself. I used to exercise purely motivated by punishment. I was “too heavy, too fat, ate too much”, etc. I had a long laundry list of why I was always big / chubby / needed to lose weight. I didn’t believe I was worth loving.
Moving my body makes me feel strong and happy.
Manifestation – Affirmations
I 10,000% recommend that you purchase and read The Secret. The information in that book has changed my life and continues to do so.
When you realize how much power you have, you can be unstoppable.


Journaling – Shadow Work
Get yourself a journal. Writing things down, getting them out of my head is exactly how I clear the brain clutter I deal with every day.
I use this workbook to specifically target my traumas and working through them. I’ve learned things that I had been hiding from myself for YEARS. I still use it every day❤️
Gratitude – Give Yourself Grace
At LEAST once a day, you should be doing one thing for yourself that you love. It can be hanging out with a pet, exercise, reading, taking a nap, drawing, music, baking, cooking, WHATEVER. If it benefits your soul, do it. You deserve to make yourself happy at least once every day. The opposite is true, too. If there is something in your life that you know isn’t helping you become who you want to be, stop it.
It’s simple. Not easy, but simple.
